Ufc Fight Night 152 Predictions

Dana White did a hell of a job with this card.

Ufc Fight Night 152 Predictions

We got Vincente Luque (15-6-1) who is coming off 3-straight KO victories facing Derrick Krantz (22-10) who is making his UFC debut. LOL 10 losses outside of the UFC? This one is going to end very quickly and very violently. Get your popcorn ready.

After a rather eventful UFC 237, the mobile Octagon lands in New York for Fight Night 152. We have a betting preview with odds, picks, and predictions. The Octagon returns to the state of New York for UFC Fight Night 152 this Saturday, May 18th. Full fight card predictions for UFC Fight Night 152 on May 18th including: Dos Anjos v Lee, Eubanks v Ladd, Cummings v Giles, and Dawson v Trizano. UFC 259: Blachowicz vs Adesanya Fight Results Live Results, Winner Interviews And More From UFC 259, Live From The UFC Apex In Las Vegas Read the story.

Then we got Aspen Ladd (7-0) taking on Sijara Eubanks (4-2) which is going to end very quickly as Ladd is clearly the superior fighter. And shit she has a lot of anger in those hands. Just watch her last fight which was a 1st round KO of Tonya Evinger who is no slouch on the feet.

Those aren’t even the main event or the co-main event even though they easily could be.

Honestly I am predicting about 75% of these fights end in a stoppage which is going to make for one of the best UFC Fight Nights in a while.

Prelims

So. Before you get bored, let’s get into what you are here for. The Predictions for UFC Fight Night 152.

Julio Arce (15-3) vs Julian Erosa (22-7) – One of the more boring fights of the night which is probably why its first. Arce is going to win likely by a calculated decision. Erosa isn’t strong enough on the feet to make Arce pay. Arce wins by unanimous decision.

Zak Cummings (22-6) vs Trevin Giles (11-0) – Tough fight as both guys like to stand up and throw. Cummings has not lost by KO in his career but he is now 34 and he recently moved up a weight class which had him looking fat in his last fight. Giles on the other hand has gone down a weight class and looks so much faster on the feet which has resulted in back-to-back KO victories. Cummings is going night night. Giles wins by KO.

Patrick Cummins (10-6) vs Ed Herman (23-14)– Both fighters come into this one at the unorthodox age of 38. Cummins is a good wrestler but has lost his last 2 fights in the UFC while Herman is 1-4 in his last 5 UFC fights and looked absolutely trash in all of them. I am expecting Cummins to take Herman down early and beat the shit out of him on the ground. BUT. If Cummins elects to throw with Herman than I think this fight could be closer. BUT. Probably not as Cummins has a cool ass mustache and that is giving me confidence in him. Cummins wins by unanimous decision.

Mike Trianzo (8-0) vs Grant Dawson (13-1) – Don’t be fooled by the 8-0 record from Trianzo as he looked like a pretty average fighter in his two UFC bouts. Dawson on the other hand is so freaking aggressive and always pushing the pace. Dawson passed up on a wrestling scholarship to Nebraska to pursue UFC so I guess you can say his wrestling is ELITE. Trianzo does not have elite wrestling which means this fight will be on the ground and Dawson is either going to finish with a submission or ground and pound. I know crazy analysis right? Dawson wins by KO.

Danny Roberts (16-4) vs Michael Pereira (21-9) – Believe it or not but Roberts is the older fighter by 6 years. Roberts does have a cool nickname which is “Hot Chocolate” but he is also coming off a submission loss to Claudio Silva who just happens to be a Brazilian. And guess what? Michael Pereira just happens to be a Brazilian as well. Pereira is also a much stronger fighter than Roberts and will likely be looking to negate Danny’s great standup by taking him to the mat. Pereira has so much experience for such a young fighter. He is going to show out in his UFC debut. Pereira wins by submission.

Desmond Green (22-8) vs Charles Jourdain (9-1) – Don’t be fooled by the records as Jourdain is making his UFC debut vs a guy who is coming off a 1st round KO. Sure it was only over Ross Pearson but this just shows us what Green is looking to do which is throw hands. In Jourdain’s last fight he was caught early by a right hook which is basically a premonition for this fight. Green wins by KO (1st Round).

Aspen Ladd (7-0) vs Sijara Eubanks (4-2) – I don’t even need to write that much about this one because I talked about it earlier. Eubanks is going to try and throw with Ladd and she is going to lose that battle 10 times out of 10. Ladd wins by KO.

Davi Ramos (9-2) vs Austin Hubbard (10-2) – Davi Ramos has two fights in the UFC and they have both been first round submissions. Now he fights a guy named Austin Hubbard who is making his UFC debut. Talk about a bad matchup. Ramos is going to show off his elite grappling and finish this one in the first round. Ramos wins by submission.

Charles Olivera (26-8) vs Nik Lentz (30-9) – Lentz has nearly 40 fights which means he is hanging up the gloves soon. And what better way to go out than getting submitted by the UFC greatest submission artist ever? That’s right Olivera has the most submission victories in the history of the UFC ever by anyone in any division. Did I cover all of my bases on that one? Okay cool because I mean this fight shouldn’t even happen. Lentz is a tough fighter I’ll give him that but this is the defining stat for me. Lentz lost to David Teymur by decision in 2018 while Olivera is coming off a 2nd round submission victory over the same opponent. Olivera wins by submission.

Vicente Luque (15-6-1) vs Derrick Kratz (22-10) – Props to Kratz for taking this fight on short notice but oh man good luck buddy. Luque literally tries to knockout every guy he faces and is coming off 3-straight KO’s in the UFC. Kratz hasn’t even fought in the UFC before. This one will be ugly and quick. Luque wins by KO.

Megan Anderson (9-3) vs Felicia Spencer (6-0) – Another mismatch. Megan Anderson is a tall, long, built fighter and she looks like she could beat the shit out of anyone her weight man or woman. Spencer on the other hand looks like she bought her black belt off Amazon. LOL Megan Anderson is coming off a fluke KO over Cat Zagano after she took a toe to the eye. But still that just shows the length of her legs and how nasty her striking is. Megan Anderson (6′ 0″) is going to make Felicia Spencer (5′ 5″) look like a hobbit out there. She also has a 4 inch reach advantage. Anderson wins by KO.

Antonio Carlos Junior (10-2) vs Ian Heinisch (12-1) – The story behind this one is absolutely crazy. Ian Heinisch was involved heavily into drugs and this led to an incarceration at Rikers Island in New York which shows you how bad this guy was doing. Since then he is now 1+ year sober and absolutely crushing it in the UFC on his way to a 12-1 record (1-0 UFC). Well UFC Fight Night 152 just happens to be in New York and he is rocking in the Co-Main Event which means this guy is an exciting fighter with very good striking. His only UFC fight was over the Brazilian Cezar Ferreira who was coming off a 1st round submission victory over Karl Roberson. Well Antonio Carlos Junior is coming off a 1st round submission as well but it was over Tim Boetsch who looked super fat in that fight. Carlos Junior has a 7 inch reach advantage, is about 5 inches taller and is 1 year younger. But I don’t care because I think this narrative is too good to pass up on. Ian Heinisch wins by KO.

Rafael dos Anjos (26-11) vs Kevin Lee (17-4) – Rafael is 34 and obviously past his prime as he hasn’t won a fight since 2017. Okay that was too harsh but I mean come on do you really think he should be favored over “The Motown Phenom”? HELL NO. Kevin Lee might not be able to beat Al Laquinta but other than that he is pretty freaking good. Watch his match vs Edson Barboza and use that as an idea of what to expect. Honestly with Al Laquinta losing to Cowboy Cerrone I can imagine a world where Kevin Lee wins this fight and gets a third chance to beat Al. Kevin should be motivated and it is no coincidence that the last guy he knocked out was from Brazil. Kevin Lee wins by KO.
