The Grand National Car

Grand National, by all reports, was the single greatest site for a golf complex Robert Trent Jones, Sr. had ever seen. Built on 600-acre Lake Saugahatchee, 32 of the 54 holes drape along its filigreed shores. Both the Links course and the Lake course were in the top 10 of Golf Digest's list of 'America's Top 50 Affordable Courses' and all three courses at Grand National are listed among the nation's 40 Super Value courses by Golf Digest's 'Places to Play'. The Lake course is also the host course for the Zimmer Biomet Championship.
National Village, a golfing community on the Trail, is adjacent to these courses and the Marriott Hotel.

LAKE Course Tour

For 21 years before NASCAR started selling naming rights in 1971, its top stock-car racing championship was known as the Grand National, and the name lingered in public usage long after the series. Tiger Roll, ridden by Davy Russell, won the 2019 Grand National at Aintree for the second successive year. Magic Of Light (66-1) finished almost three lengths behind in second, Ruby Walsh finished.

The Grand National Live

With twelve holes hugging the shore of Lake Saugahatchee, the Lake course is one of the most scenic courses you can find. The quartet of par threes is as good as any in the nation.

LINKS Course Tour

The cornerstone of the complex is the Links course, which is without a single weakness. The par-four eighteenth hole is without a doubt one of the strongest finishing holes on the Trail.

SHORT COURSE

The grand national championship by the sea

The Short Course is a thing of beauty, with more than half the holes touching the Lake Saugahatchee. This 18-hole course of one-shotters might be the finest anywhere in the country.
